Welcome to my teacher page! My name is Mrs. Joni Macaulay and I am the pre-k teacher at Edwards-Knox. I went to elementary school at Fowler Elementary and graduated from Gouverneur Central School. After high school, I attended SUNY @ Canton and SUNY @ Potsdam. I have lived in the north country all my life and enjoy the changing seasons, although as I get older, winter is not quite as much fun as it used to be. I live on the Oswegatchie River with my husband, George and our black lab dog, Veronica. We enjoy the river very much and kayak or fish during the summer. We also have a daughter. Lindsay and two grandsons, Zackary and Brock. I enjoy working with pre-k students. It is a very exciting age and it always amazes me how much each child grows in such a short time. I like to build a strong connection between school and home. When parents and teachers work together, it is a big benefit to students.
I enjoy reading, music, walking, and
embroidery.
