Ten  new members where tapped for membership during the 1998-1999 annual induction ceremony of the Edwards-Knox Chapter of the National Honor Society.  The program was held on Monday, May 11, 1999 and was emceed by chapter president, Matt Fox.

Two seniors were  inducted:  Lacey Folsom, the daughter of Roger and Debbie Folsom; and Kristin Schryver, the daughter of David and Marcia Schryver. There were two juniors inducted: Jaime Graham, the daughter of Roger and Melanie Graham; and Thomas Whitmarsh, the son of Thomas and Kathleen Whitmarsh. Five sophomores were inducted:  Gina Foote, the daughter of Minnie and John Flanagan; Michelle Mullaney, the daughter of Patrick and Julie Mullaney; David Schryver, Jr., the son of David and Marcia Schryver; Matthew Sternisha, the son of William and Kelly Sternisha; and Kyle VanBrocklin, the son of Vickie Strate.  In addition, tapped for honorary membership was Julia Ostromogilska, and foreign exchange student from the Ukraine who was staying with Debra and Larry Bullock for the year.
