School-based Community Food Pantry

Our school-based Community Food Pantry serves about 45 families per month and is available to all district residents. Thanks to a partnership with the Food Bank of Central New York, we are able to purchase a wide variety of foods to offer at the pantry.

The pantry is open Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., and is also available on weekends by appointment. As a client-choice pantry, clients have the ability to choose the foods that best fit their family’s needs.

If you are interested in volunteering or would like to visit the pantry, please email Community Schools Site Coordinator Jennifer Hotaling, or call (315) 562-8130 ext. 25509.

The Edwards-Knox Central School District offers a variety of pool programs for students, staff and the community. Students in pre-K and kindergarten are introduced to the pool environment, while students in grades 1-6 receive formal swimming lessons. Select classes of students in grades 9-12 learn valuable water survival skills. We also offer a lifeguarding class and in-service training for our student lifeguards. During the summer, the pool is home to American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim lessons as part of Edwards-Knox’s summer enrichment program.

The public can enjoy the pool with lap swim and aqua jogging twice a week, an AquaFit class once per week and community swim on Sundays. A complete pool schedule is available on the District calendar. Edwards-Knox is proud to offer expanded pool access to our students, staff and community.
