Edwards-Knox Teachers Association Offers Full Scholarship to 4-H Camp Overlook

The Edwards-Knox Teachers Association is offering a full scholarship for a current Edwards-Knox Central School student to attend 4-H Camp Overlook during the summer of 2026.

Located in Owls Head, New York, 4-H Camp Overlook provides overnight summer camp experiences for students ages 6 to 17. Camp options include mini-camps, traditional weeklong camp, outdoor adventure programs, leadership development and lifeguard training.

Available camp programs include:

  • Three-day, two-night mini-camps for ages 6–11
  • Six-day, five-night traditional camp for ages 8–17
  • Adirondack Explorer backpacking programs for ages 10–17
  • Leadership Experience Outdoors programs for ages 13–17
  • Lifeguard training mini-camp for ages 15–17

Applications for the scholarship are due March 1, 2026, and must be returned to Meagan McGrath or Jen Impey. The application can be found by clicking here. A selection committee will review applications and notify the selected student by April 1, 2026.

Additional financial assistance may also be available through St. Lawrence County Cooperative Extension. Families who qualify are encouraged to apply for both opportunities.

The application includes two parts: one completed by a parent or guardian and one completed by the student. Younger students may need assistance completing their portion.
