Edwards-Knox to unveil new Cougar Field House at Back-to-School Bash on Sept. 2

The Edwards-Knox Central School District is ready to kick off the new academic year by celebrating a major milestone for the community. The district will host a Back-to-School Bash and official ribbon cutting for the new Cougar Field House on Tuesday, Sept. 2, from 4-6 p.m.

The event marks the grand opening of the new Cougar Field House, a key part of the district’s voter-approved capital improvement project. The new facility provides modern amenities, including public restrooms and a concession stand for athletic events.

The celebration begins with the ribbon-cutting ceremony at 4 p.m., followed by a community-wide open house and celebration. The Back-to-School Bash is designed to welcome students, families, faculty and community members.

Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy a free community cookout, pick up free school supplies for their students and tour the new Field House and classrooms during the open house. The event will also feature a clothing giveaway of new and gently used items, a bounce house and other fun activities, the chance to meet dozens of community partners and opportunities to win prizes.

All members of the Edwards-Knox community are invited to attend.
