Summer break is fast approaching, and the Edwards-Knox Central School District Food Services Department wants to make sure all kids 18 and under in our region have access to free breakfast and lunch. This year’s Summer Meal Program will run from July 6 through Aug. 30, with two phases of meal pick-up options for families.
Weekend & Weekly Take-Home Meals
Throughout the month of July, weekend meals will be available for pick-up each Friday. Beginning in August, families will be able to pick up a full week’s worth of breakfast and lunch for each child.
Sign-up is required for these options using the 2026 Summer Feeding Program Registration Form. All meals will be picked up at the front entrance of Edwards-Knox Central School within the bus circle.

Weekend Meal Pickup
Every Friday from 2:30-5:30 p.m., starting July 6 and running through Aug. 2, you can pick up breakfast and lunch for the weekend.
Aug. 3-30
Weekly Meal Pickup
Starting Aug. 3 and continuing through Aug. 30, families can pick up a full week’s worth of breakfast and lunch for each child, every Tuesday from 2:30-5:30 p.m.

Open to All Kids in Our Region!
This program is open to all children 18 and under across our region (especially those whose school districts do not offer their own summer feeding program).
It is important for the district to ensure eligibility and prevent duplicate meals. To help us with this, when picking up your first meals, we encourage children to be present when possible. If children are not present, we may ask for alternate forms of verification, including: an official letter or email from a school confirming student enrollment, student ID cards, individual student report cards, or an attendance record from the parent portal of the school website.
